Ramey "Coach" Stroud

Coach grew up in the sands of Nevada.  It was only natural that he began his motorcycle career as a desert racer.  For many years he learned the ropes of professional motorcycle competition.

Eventually Ramey trained for and was accepted as a professional firefighter.  During his 20 years in the fire service Coach helped develop and present training programs at the local, state and national levels.  All the while Captain Stroud kept building, tuning, riding and racing.  Superbikes, motocross, rally, desert, drag, trials.  He's done it all.

After retiring as the state director of fire service training in Oregon, Coach went back to school to earn his Doctorate.  Upon graduation Ramey turned his 60-acre Oregon ranch into a world-class motorcycle training center. Coach's love of riding, racing, touring and teaching is stronger than ever.

Coach's racing program is amazing. At the age of 50, he won the Best in the Desert off-road racing championships included riding the longest off-road race in American history-- 2,000 miles-- and doing it solo against three rider teams 20 years to his junior.

In the past ten years Coach has earned podium finishes in the prestigious Alcan5000 Rally, medaled at the International Six Day Enduro and completed IronButt endurance events all over North America.  In 2007 he was named N.W. Motocross Racer of the Year.

Coach has helped pro racers bring home the gold-- in the dirt and on the track.   Coach has helped endurance riders finish grueling international competitions.  Now his focus is on helping you.

Helping others do well is what Coach is all about.
