The Folks at the BMW Owners of America are developing a national training program called, "Rider Performance University."

As part of the RPU curriculum we have been asked to develop and present an intermediate to advanced program to teach off-pavement riding on the BMW GS series motorcycle.

To this end we have created an intense three-day schedule based upon a simple premise: Your journey to become a great GS Rider begins with your body and how you use it.  It's not about just twisting the throttle and hanging on!

THE TRAINING

On July 10 we will begin an in depth exploration of the body-mechanics and skills require to take a GS series motorcycle to it's design potential.

Since you have been riding for a while, we'll start by looking at what you have learned so far and how it's working for you.  Your bike set-up will be analyzed in the context of your body.  Why?  Because most riders buy the recommended accessories and then adapt their riding style to the bike.  We stand that on it's head: We first determine maximum efficiency for your body type, age and level of conditioning-- then we discuss how to adapt your bike to you and your needs.

This intense 3-day training camp will push you to the edge.  Mentally, emotionally and physically.  We will question everything.

We will challenge your beliefs and test your skills.  That which works will be reinforced.  What does not will be replaced.

In the end, you will have a bigger tool box of skills to fix the problems encountered on the GS in the rough.

THE COST

The cost of this 3-day training camp is $599 including nine (9) meals. On-site camping or RV parking is included.
